Description
Here we have a fabulous example of the BMW HP2 sport, only 6k miles since in 2009 at which time this was the pinnacle of BMW engineering, a no expense spared endurance racer turned road bike.
The bike has a greats service history and all recalls have been completed, the service book is stamped at the following intervals, PDI in 2009, 520 miles running in service, 2548 miles in 2011, 3515 miles in 2013, it has then had oil changes every 2 years by the current owner who has had the bike since 2012, these have been done regardless of mileage. It will again be serviced along with a PDI and MOT upon sale.
At the time the HP2 had the most powerful boxer engine that BMW had produced and the road bike came with the same engine, map, dash etc as the endurance race bike that BMW were running. The spec of these bikes is mind blowing, carbon and billet aluminium everywhere, Ohlins shocks front and rear, Brembo race spec monobloc calipers, lightweight forged aluminium wheels, WSB dash, the list goes on.
