This is a fantastic example of a bonified modern classic, the 1997 Triumph T300 Daytona 900.
The bike has had 4 previous owners and has covered a mere 17,844 miles in its 27 years. The current owner has been the custodian since 2016 when it sat at 12,900 miles, since then a lot of work has been undertaken to keep it in tip top shape.
Originally bought from Windy Corner in 1997, the service book has entries at the following mileages, 621 miles,3315 miles, 5473 miles, 9346 miles,11185 miles, 11521 miles, 12877 miles. This takes us up to 2016 when the current owner took the bike on, since then it has had the following undertaken…
2016 @12945 miles, full service with all fluids.
2016 @13053 miles, front tyre, fork oil, chain , all brake pads and clutch/brake bleed.
2017 @13211 miles, valve clearances, new airbox, ignition pickup,carb rebuild, fuel tap rebuild, rear caliper rebuild with piston and seals.
2020 @13652 miles, coolant change, engine oil and filter, brake/clutch fluid & sychronised carbs.
2021 @15233 miles, fitted 10% uprated fork springs.
2022 @15707 miles, brake and clutch fluid, coolant flush, engine oil and filter, spark plug clean, synchronised carbs.
2022 @16276 miles, front brake master cylinder seal kit and front brake calipers rebuilt with new seals.
The bike will have an engine oil and filter service, plus PDI and new MOT before it leaves us for the new owner.
Hopefully the above shows how well this has been looked after mechanically, please take a good look at the pictures, the cosmetics are pretty exceptional also, its in fantastic ocnidtion throughout with hardly a mark to it.
It comes with both keys, owners manual, service book, plus a large folder with invoices for service items and old MOT certificates which verify the mileage.
