The original GSXR superbike, an instant classic with 128bhp cradled in an aluminium box frame with a dry weight of only 196kg, very low for its day.
Description
This bike was imported into the UK in 1999, declared manufactured in 1987, and has since had a lot of time and money spent in the last few years on making it the great example that it is today.
In the last few years it’s had a full paint job by Dream Machine, new tyres, chain & sprocket, service, braided lines, calipers rebuilt, numerous small parts replaced with genuine Suzuki items to make it what it is today. In prep for the sale it has also just had new plugs, a fork rebuild, carb clean and new fuel tap. It wants for nothing and will have a full MOT for the new owner.
The current mileage shows 8,800 miles which could well be true but we don’t have the early history and it was off the road for a good number of years until recomissioned in 2017.
Sympathetically restored to make a great rideable classic, would look at home in any collection whilst still being very much useable.
